Snorrastofa and the church

Snorrastofa organizes symposiums and the topics of  the series of lectures, named Lectures in the District, have been chosen to spark the interest of both scholars and the general public.
 
Snorrastofa organizes music events in the church and exhibitions in the Congregation Hall.

St. Cecila

Exhibition in The Church of Reykholt starting December 1st 2008.

Pictures of St. Cecilia by Páll Guðmundsson of Húsafell. The original is painted on ice with pigments ground from local stone, then printed as the original melts away. Poems are by Thor Vilhjálmsson.
St. Cecilia (Icelandic: heilög Sesselja) a 3rd century Roman saint, is the patron saint of the church at Húsafell.

Opened in June 2008. Exhibition on the archaeological excavation in Reykholt.
